I’m Ramsey, and I bring over 15 years of experience in the pet industry, beginning in boarding facilities and daycares before dedicating myself to animal rescue. I spent 4 years working at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, I gained extensive experience with reactive, aggressive, and feral dogs.

In 2021 I studded at the Karen Pryor Academy earning my Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP). I chose to study at the Karen Pryor Academy because I believe in humane training methods for all dogs.

After earning my KPA-CTP, I joined Aska’s Animals, a non-profit in eastern Idaho focused on raising puppies outside the shelter system, providing free behavior support to the community as well as post adoption support to ensure a smooth transition for newly adopted dogs.

Outside of working with dogs I enjoy spending my time enjoying the great outdoors and visiting our national parks. During my down time I paint pet portraits, play dnd, care for my plants, and practice photography.

While I work with dogs professionally, I have always had a passion for all animals. Alongside my 4 dog I have my horse Tilly as well as blue tongue skink and two rescued pet snakes.

I am excited to be offering training and pet care services to greater Idaho Falls. I look forward to meeting you and of course your beloved pups.
